A male tenth grader passed away after falling from the third floor’s balcony of a high school in the northern Vietnamese province of Thai Binh while he was playing on a phone on Sunday.

A leader of Thai Binh’s Quynh Phu District has refuted rumors circulating on social media that the deadly accident, which took place at Quynh Coi High School, was a suicide.

The victim, N.Q.S., just accidentally fell off the balcony while playing on his phone next to it, according to the leader.

The fall seriously injured S. before he died at the hospital.

Police officers examined the scene and handed over S.’s body to his family shortly after.
