-- Foreign visitors who do not have a visa will be allowed to enter Vietnam to work, attend conferences, seminars, study, and more, as Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh has recently agreed to relax the entry procedure for foreigners as well as Vietnamese and their relatives who reside in other countries.
-- The Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control on Wednesday afternoon issued an urgent notice to find all passengers traveling on two flights related to newly discovered Omicron infections, including flight VN5409 from South Korea to Cam Ranh International Airport in the south-central province of Khanh Hoa on January 7, and flight VN1345 from Cam Ranh to Ho Chi Minh City on January 10.
