-- Authorities in Da Nang City, central Vietnam have required that all decorative and advertising lighting be turned off after 8:00 pm to save electricity.

-- An Giang General Hospital in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang said on Tuesday that its doctors managed to save a three-year-old girl, who was severely mauled by a dog, causing her intestines to protrude and leaving her in a severe head trauma.

-- Shipping service GrabExpress from ride-hailing firm Grab and Vietnamese electric scooter start-up Selex Motors conducted official trials of electric delivery motorcycles in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday. The initiative includes the establishment of 24 automated battery exchange stations for GrabExpress drivers across the city.
