At least three commuters were injured after a five-seater car crashed into several motorcycles and autos on a street in Thuan An City under Binh Duong Province, southern Vietnam on Tuesday.
Camera footage showed the car only stopped completely after hitting a median strip.
Police in the city were working with the province’s traffic police officers and other relevant agencies to clarify the cause of the crash at 7:00 pm on the same day.
Some eyewitnesses said that the crash occurred at about 4:00 pm.
The VinFast-branded car was running on Provincial Road 743 when it crashed into several vehicles at the Cuu Long intersection in Binh Hoa Ward, Thuan An City.
After dragging three scooters, the car sped up and continued ramming a stationary truck.
The car stopped and got deformed after hitting the median strip, according to security camera footage.
The scene of the crash stretched over 100 meters.
The injured people were taken to the nearest hospital.
