-- The World Bank has withdrawn its $10 million funding for two investment contracts linked to a sustainable environmental project in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam. The withdrawal is attributed to the project's failure to compensate residents whose land is affected, in accordance with the World Bank's resettlement policy framework.
-- Vietnam’s aviation industry is expected to see a growth rate of 7.1 percent in transport volume next year, reaching 80.3 million passengers compared, to this year’s figures, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
