– A 53-year-old American was treated for myocardial infarction at the Ninh Thuan General Hospital in south-central Vietnam on February 8 while he was visiting Ninh Thuan Province for Tet (Lunar New Year) celebrations, said a representative from the hospital.
– A buffalo was gunned down on Thursday afternoon after the aggressive animal butted an 80-year-old woman to death and injured two other locals in Le Thuy District under Quang Binh Province, located in north-central Vietnam, an official said on Friday.
