Many locations in Quang Ninh Province, northern Vietnam experienced power outages caused by fallen trees and power poles as a result of hailstorms and whirlwinds on Friday, the state-owned Vietnam Electricity’s Quang Ninh Power Company said the same day.

The bad weather conditions hit such provincial cities as Ha Long, Cam Pha, Uong Bi, and Dong Trieu Town, causing no human damage but leading to fallen power poles and the roofs of many houses being pulled away.

Consequently, power service was disrupted in multiple places in the province.

The Quang Ninh Power Company then dispatched its employees to the affected areas to cope with the aftermath, pledging to restore power as quickly as it could.
