Two share $12.4mn lottery jackpot in Vietnam

Two people will share the VND314.1 billion (US$12.4 million) Vietlott jackpot following Thursday’s drawing.
Vietnam’s state-run lottery company Vietlott announced that the lottery draw held on Thursday resulted in two customers winning Jackpot 1 and two customers winning Jackpot 2.
The two Jackpot 1 winning tickets were issued in Ho Chi Minh City.
Meanwhile, one Jackpot 2 winning ticket was sold in Ho Chi Minh City and the remaining was distributed in neighboring Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
The two customers who won the Jackpot 1 prize worth a combined VND314.1 billion ($12.4 million) from Mega 6/55 will share it, with each receiving over VND141.3 billion ($5.6 million) after paying VND15.7 billion ($623,500) in personal income tax, in accordance with regulations.
The winning numbers were 03-06-15-25-33-43.
The two customers who won Jackpot 2 will each receive VND2.2 billion ($87,360).
