A spectacular display of martial arts and crime-fighting skills by various public security units took place in Hanoi on Friday as part of the rehearsal for the program ‘Glory to Vietnam’s People's Public Security,’ scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

Organized by the Ministry of Public Security, the program commemorates the 77th anniversary of the People's Public Security forces studying and implementing the Six Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh (March 11) and anticipates the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese People's Public Security forces (August 19).

The rehearsal showcased the public security officers' extraordinary physical and tactical skills, drawing thousands of residents and tourists to the Hoan Kiem Lake area, where it took place.

Spectators were captivated by breathtaking demonstrations of martial arts, qigong, and crime-fighting maneuvers performed by highly skilled officers.

One of the most striking performances featured qigong demonstrations, in which officers displayed exceptional endurance and strength.

In an awe-inspiring act, a female officer used her throat to push against a sharp spear while pulling a car with a rope.

Other performances included officers lying on sharp swords while enduring the impact of heavy stones being smashed over their bodies, using their feet to bend steel pipes, and withstanding the force of an AK-47 bayonet dropped onto their abdomen from a height.

Each act highlighted the officers' incredible discipline, endurance, and mental fortitude developed through extensive training.

Beyond martial arts and qigong displays, the event also featured high-intensity crime-fighting scenarios.

The audience watched in awe as officers simulated the pursuit and capture of armed criminals, showcasing their strategic acumen, quick reflexes, and combat skills.

These reenactments reflected the real-life challenges faced by law enforcement in dealing with dangerous criminals who often resist arrest and use firearms.

With a combination of bravery, intelligence, and well-honed martial arts techniques, the officers demonstrated their ability to subdue suspects, retrieve weapons, and secure evidence with precision.

Their swift and decisive actions underscored the critical role they play in ensuring public safety and maintaining law and order.

In addition to these demonstrations, the program includes other exciting activities, such as a music gala set to take place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in Hoan Kiem District on Sunday evening.

The gala will feature performances by renowned artists and singers, further enriching the celebratory atmosphere.
