A vegetarian food festival will be held at Gia Dinh Park in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City from Friday through Sunday, when approximately 10,000 visitors are expected to visit it each day.
This year’s fest, themed 'Spring and Youth,' will be hosted by the Vietnam Youth Federation in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Workers Support Center, and Big Vision NetWork Communication Company between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm daily.
The festival will feature more than 100 booths with hundreds of vegetarian dishes prepared by leading chefs.
Visitors can enjoy watching chefs, artisans, and experts put on cooking performances.
During the event, there will be 'The New Chef 2024' and Vietnamese ancestral tray contests for young cooks.
The festival organizer will also present 500 gift sets to disadvantaged people to help them better enjoy Tet holiday, due in February.
The event will also feature panels, fundraising auctions, folk games, and a calligraphy area.
