The maiden Vietnam Golf Festival will be hosted by Nha Trang City, a beach destination in Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam, from November 27 to 29.
Sai Gon Giai Phong (Liberated Saigon) newspaper, in collaboration with the provincial Department of Culture and Sports and Star Global Entertainment Co. Ltd., organizes the festival with the aim of honoring the century-long history of golf in Vietnam and promoting local tourism during the process.
The three-day event will feature a vibrant lineup of activities, promising to bring boundless excitement to golfers and golf fans.
The festival seeks to preserve and promote the historical, cultural, and economic significance of golf in Vietnam, and to make golf more accessible to the public.
Notably, proceeds from the festival will be used to support a charity initiative launched by Sai Gon Giai Phong in 2023.
As part of the fest, the Vietnam Golf Festival Championship will bring together 280 golfers from across the country, while the Kids Golf Talent Tournament will provide a platform for young golfers in U11, U13, U15, and U18 age brackets.
