Vietnamese novel released in America

Vietnamese renowned author Ho Anh Thai’s novel “Coi Nguoi Rung Chuong Tan The” has recently been translated into English and released in America under the title “Apocalypse hotel.”

The book, which is published in printed and e-book versions, is translated and edited by Jonathan McIntyre and Wayne Karlin, respectively.

“The book was a sensation in its author’s home country: to date it has sold more than 50,000 copies in ten printings and has been received enthusiastically by both public and critics as a work of creativity,” Texas Tech University press, publisher of “Apocalypse hotel” introduced on its website. “Born in Hanoi in 1960, Ho Anh Thai is one of the most prolific writers in Vietnam.”

Also, UK literature magazine Banipal also introduced Ho Anh Thai’s short story “The Field of the American Arm” translated into English by Wayne Karlin in its special issue to celebrate 15 years of establishment.
