Dong A One-Member Limited Liability Bank (DongA Bank), formerly based in Ho Chi Minh City, has been rebranded as Vikki Bank in accordance with a decision by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), marking a significant shift toward digital transformation aimed at sustainable development and enhanced customer benefits.

According to DongA Bank’s recent announcement, the new name, effective February 14, 2025, will officially be written in Vietnamese as ‘Ngan hang trach nhiem huu han mot thanh vien So Vikki,’ as per Decision No. 237 issued by the SBV on the same day.

The English equivalent is ‘Vikki Digital Bank Limited,’ with the official abbreviation ‘Vikki Bank.’

Alongside the rebranding, the bank has relocated its headquarters to 72 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Tran Hung Dao Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, replacing its former location at 130 Phan Dang Luu Street, Ward 3, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City.

The transformation extends across all platforms. The bank’s official website has changed to vikkibank.vn.

Additionally, DongA Bank Mobile Internet Banking has been rebranded as Vikki Internet Banking, the mobile app DongA Bank Mobile has been renamed Vikki DAB, and DongA Soft OTP is now Vikki Soft OTP.

Prior to this transition, on January 17, 2025, the SBV announced the mandatory transfer of DongA Bank to Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank).

As a result, Vikki Bank is now fully owned by HDBank, with 100 percent of its charter capital under the latter’s control.

Under HDBank’s ownership, the legal rights and interests of depositors and customers remain fully protected as per existing agreements and legal regulations.

To celebrate its new brand identity, Vikki Bank will launch a series of promotional programs to show appreciation for existing customers and attract new ones.

As a new-generation digital bank, Vikki Bank integrates cutting-edge technology with a broad network of branches and transaction offices.

The bank offers a comprehensive range of services, including banking, finance, investment, insurance, travel, and shopping.

By leveraging the latest technological advancements and its extensive service network, Vikki Bank aims to deliver a seamless, secure, and highly convenient banking experience.

This transformation marks a crucial milestone for the bank in the digital era, setting the stage for long-term growth and stability while providing enhanced benefits to employees, partners, customers, and the wider community.
