The British International School Hanoi (BIS Hanoi) is delighted to announce that it will host its first “International Festival” to celebrate the different nationalities and cultures at the school whilst raising money to support school community and charity projects.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 19, at the British International School Hanoi on Hoa Lan Road in Vinhomes Riverside in Long Bien District, Hanoi.

The BIS Hanoi International Festival aims to educate students about cultures from all over the world, through traditional games, costumes, food and other activities and also educate them about their responsibility to community service projects. The event is expected to attract over 2,000 people this year.

Mr Anthony Rowlands, principal of British International School Hanoi, said: “The International Festival is the biggest community event of the year at BIS Hanoi, which allows our students, parents and our guests to learn more about the culture of different countries around the world. It is also an opportunity for family and friends to come together and have an enjoyable time for a fun day out.”

The International Festival will feature plenty of entertainment, from bouncy castles to Henna paintings, ice cream and candy floss, music shows to handicraft workshops. International food from different countries and communities will be introduced as well as businesses and local charities.

The festival begins at 9:30 am and continues until 2:00 pm. FREE entrance. To book your space, please click HERE and for more information, call (04) 3946 0435 or email bishanoi@bishanoi.com
