Fashion director Nguyen Hung Phuc will represent Vietnam at the 2017 Global Excellence Awards Gala, which honors the ‘globally most outstanding individuals’ in Singapore this Saturday.
The Vietnamese will be joined by 17 other representatives from China, the U.S., Cambodia, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Korea, Nepal, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and the host Singapore.
The Global Excellence Awards Gala aims at honoring talents, achievements and contributions of influential individuals working in business or entertainment. Each country’s representative contributes to the event with performances including music, art and fashion.
Phuc is slated to direct two catwalk shows, introducing two design collections at the event – an ao dai collection for Miss Vietnam 2010 Ngoc Han and an indigenous clothing redesign of KK Children by Thanh Huynh. Both collections will be presented by kid models Pinkids.
