American singer, song writer, and pianist Greyson Chance is scheduled to perform in Ho Chi Minh City this week.

Greyson Chance will perform all of his popular songs during the July show of MTV Connection, a mini concert that has been organized monthly by the 24-hour music channel MTV Vietnam since 2015, on July 25.

This is the first time MTV Connection has invited an international act to perform at the event.

The 22-year-old singer will also introduce some tracks from his second studio album titled “PORTRAITS”, which was released in March.

In addition to the young American artist, the event, themed “A night of sensation,” will feature a number of other Vietnamese singers and VJs.

Born in 1997, Greyson Chance rose to stardom after his cover video performance of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” went viral on YouTube in 2010, when he was only in sixth grade.

Chance was then signed by eleveneleven, a recording label by the famous comedian, TV host Ellen DeGeneres.

His debut single, “Waiting outside the lines,” released later the same year was one of his few biggest hits. He has been unrecognized since then with later releases receiving little notice.

After the MTV Connection in Ho Chi Minh City, Greyson Chance will fly to Jakarta, Indonesia – the next stop in his ongoing world tour.

Chance is expected to return to Vietnam for his live concert in February next year.
