Vietnam produces Omega 3-rich eggs

The Vietnam Science and Technology Academy has successfully produced chicken eggs which are remarkably rich in Omega 3, a fatty acid with various health benefits.

The eggs have a content of Omega 3 which is five to eight times higher than that of a conventional one.

The research result has been transferred to local companies, which are expected to turn out Omega 3- rich eggs at lower prices than similar imported ones.

In order for chicken to lay the eggs, they must be fed with feed in a particular recipe, which include various seeds rich in essential oil, seaweed, and fish oil.

Omega-3 fatty acids cannot be synthesized by the human body and are thus vital for normal metabolism. It boasts huge health benefits, including preventing cardiovascular illnesses, cancer, diabetes and hypertension, reducing cholesterol level, and minimizing risks of dementia and Alzheimer.
