Two female interns have filed a complaint, accompanied by recordings, against a civil court judge in Ho Chi Minh City for being sexually harassed during their internship.

Pham Minh Trieu, chief judge of the Binh Thanh District People’s Court, said on Tuesday that the court was examining the two students’ accusation along with their audio recordings against N.V.X, a judge of the court.

Pham Tuan Anh, deputy chief judge of the court, is in charge of handling the case.

According to the complaint, the students took the internship at the court under X.’s guidance between April and June.

After the internship, the two filed the complaint against him for repeatedly sexually harassing them during the internship and sent it to the district’s court, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Court, and local authorities.

“We have invited the people involved to offer information about the case,” Anh told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reporters.

“We will inform the press as soon as we have the final results.”
