Three suspects have been arrested for being involved in a fight that led to the death of one person in the south-central beach city of Nha Trang on early Saturday morning.

Nguyen Trung Tien, 25, Huynh Cong Duc, 23, and Huynh Van Lam, 34, have been apprehended to assist the investigation, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Thanh, deputy chief of the

Department of Police in Nha Trang City, located in Khanh Hoa Province, confirmed on Saturday afternoon.

Another suspect, 28-year-old Nguyen Thanh Tung, is still being treated for his injuries at the hospital, under the supervision of police officers.

They were involved in a fatal confrontation on Nguyen Thien Thuat Street earlier the same day, Thanh added.

According to preliminary information, Ngo Xuan Thuy, 31, and his friends were singing at a karaoke parlor when they had an argument with another group, including Tien, Duc, Lam, and Tung at around 2:30 am.

The verbal fight later ended but Thuy was still holding the grudge.

After his friends left the place, Thuy came back to the karaoke room of Tien’s gang before stabbing Tung multiple times with a knife.

Tien, Duc, and Lam then attacked Thuy with their weapons.
