A driver apparently under the influence of crystal meth slammed his car into a number of vehicles on a street in the Central Highlands tourist city of Da Lat on Thursday afternoon, leaving at least one person injured.
The incident occurred along a one-kilometer section on Nguyen Van Cu and Ba Thang Hai Streets, severely damaging two other automobiles and five parked motorcycles.
The entire front end of the car was destroyed after it was finally stopped by two utility poles.
A video taken in the immediate aftermath of the accident shows the driver appearing to dance in the front seat of his vehicle while holding a deflated airbag.
He was subdued and taken to a police station, where law enforcement examined him and declared he was high on crystal meth.
He was identified as Nguyen Van Quoc, a 27-year-old American citizen.
