Police in Ho Chi Minh City are investigating the death of a South Korean woman in District 7, following what appeared to be a robbery-murder, with a car found burned at a different location.
The police said that their division in Tan Phong Ward, District 7, received a report about a murder at 2:30 am on Saturday.
Accordingly, the victim was identified as a South Korean woman, along with two injured men.
At the same time, a car destroyed by fire was found near Thu Thiem Bridge in District 2 and suspected of being in conjunction with the murder, according to a source close to Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper.
The municipal police are cooperating with competent agencies to examine the crime scenes.
