Ho Chi Minh City suspends coaches to, from Hai Duong, Quang Ninh over COVID-19 outbreaks

Authorities in Ho Chi Minh City have suspended all passenger transport services along routes connecting the southern metropolis with the northern provinces of Hai Duong and Quang Ninh, the country’s new COVID-19 epicenters.
The decision took effect from Thursday until further notice, according to the municipal Department of Transport.
Operators of passenger transport and tourism services along these routes have been asked to contact the transport department for further directions on epidemic prevention and control.
All drivers and conductors must fill out health declaration forms for authorities to better manage and monitor the situation.
Managers of local bus stations and ports are required to strictly comply with regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control.
Two COVID-19 clusters were recorded in Hai Duong and Quang Ninh Provinces with a total of 93 community-based infections confirmed between Thursday morning and Friday morning.
Seventy-nine of these cases were traced to the cluster in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong, including 77 in Hai Duong, one in northern Hai Phong City, and one in Bac Ninh Province.
The other 14 patients were linked to the cluster in Quang Ninh Province, including 13 in Quang Ninh and one in Hanoi.
Vietnam has documented 1,651 COVID-19 cases as of Friday morning, with 1,430 recoveries and 35 deaths, according to the Ministry of Health.
