A 10th-grader in Hanoi was found dead after she fell from the ninth floor of the CT2A apartment building on Le Duc Tho Street in Nam Tu Liem District on Tuesday. 

Upon being notified of the accident, the local fire brigade promptly arrived at the scene and found the girl atop the metal roof of a nearby restaurant.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Details of the accident remain vague.

“She was attending grade 10 and lived on the ninth floor [of the CT2A apartment building],” a neighbor reported.

Police are continuing their investigation into the case.
