A bus had its front pierced by dozens of iron bars following its collision with a homemade motor cart in Hanoi on Sunday morning.

Traffic police officers in Hanoi confirmed they were coordinating with police in Thanh Xuan District to determine the cause of the accident involving a bus and a homemade three-wheeled motor cart.

The bus was carrying passengers along Nguyen Trai Street in Thanh Xuan District at around 6:30 am on Sunday when it collided with the motor cart traveling in the opposite direction.

The cart was carrying dozens of iron bars and appeared to be running in the wrong lane.

The front of the bus ended up being pierced by the iron bars, while the windshield, steering wheel, and dashboard were heavily damaged.

No one was injured but many passengers on the bus were terrified following the crash.
