Medical professionals and nurses from the Department of Public Security of An Giang Province in southern Vietnam conducted health assessments, dispensed medications, and gave presents to a total of 600 people in Takéo Province, Cambodia on Sunday.
Colonel Nguyen Thanh Ha, deputy director of the An Giang Department of Public Security, led a delegation of medical workers to Phnum Den Commune, Kiri Vong District, Takéo Province.
The program aimed to strengthen the unity and friendship between the authorities and peoples of An Giang and Takéo Provinces and between Vietnam and Cambodia as a whole.

They gave advice on the prevention and treatment of some diseases which are common there, such as osteoarthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, stomachache, as well as cardiovascular, respiratory and skin diseases.
Doctors also gave advice on personal hygiene in daily activities.
The delegation then visited Prey Sloek Commune, Treang District, Takéo Province to provide medical check-ups and medicines at no charge to 300 disadvantaged residents.
The Department of Public Security of An Giang Province also presented rice, instant noodles, and other necessities to Takéo residents.
