-- UK-headquartered John Swire & Sons will keep expanding its investment, especially in the aviation and health sectors, in Vietnam, chairman of the firm Guy Bradley said at a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Hanoi on Tuesday.

-- Long An Province authorities have signed a decision allowing Green City Development JSC, a subsidiary of property conglomerate Vingroup’s Vinhomes, to develop the Hau Nghia - Duc Hoa new urban area project, covering 197.2 hectares and costing an estimated VND28.2 trillion (US$1.15 billion).

-- Thai firms place great trust in Vietnam’s potential and investment climate, and desire to expand their reach in the country, Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara told Prime Minister Chinh during their talks on Wednesday.
