A ride-hailing driver on Thursday night detected and filmed a foreigner spraying paint and scrawling graffiti on walls along Tran Hung Dao Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

The video has gone viral on social media in Vietnam.

Most of the viewers vented their anger on the man.

The over 15-minute video, captured by the ride-hailing driver named L.T.V., showed that the foreign man aged about 30 was using spray paint bottles to sully the walls.

He covered the walls with large shapes of graffiti.

After noticing that the ride-hailing driver was filming his act, the foreigner completed the graffiti quickly and left the scene.

Over the past month, city residents have detected and filmed four foreign graffiti vandals.

On May 3, a ride-hailing driver recorded a group of three foreigners spaying paint and scrawling graffiti on walls and coiling doors along Le Loi Boulevard in District 1.
