Tran Xuan Toan, deputy editor-in-chief of Tuoi Tre, expressed his gratitude for the group’s generous support, which he said would provide significant encouragement to those struggling in the aftermath of the storm.
Tuoi Tre is serving as a bridge, receiving support to help communities recover from the natural disasters and rebuild their lives.
With its focus on rebuilding schools and granting scholarships to students in affected areas, Tuoi Tre pledged to swiftly deliver the donations to where they are most needed.
Tuoi Tre plans to distribute Morinaga Milk Group’s dairy products to students in Lao Cai and Cao Bang, two mountainous provinces in northern Vietnam, hoping that the group will join in distributing these products.
The news agency looks forward to continuing its partnership with Morinaga Milk Group in the upcoming time.
Typhoon Yagi, the third storm to hit Vietnam this year, made landfall in the northern region in early September.
Yagi and subsequent heavy rains, floods, and landslides left 350 people dead or missing, wreaking havoc on many localities and causing damage estimated at over VND81 trillion ($3.2 billion).
