-- Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted a reception in Hanoi on Tuesday for a delegation of the U.S. Semiconductor Industry Association led by its Chairman John Neuffer.
-- According to the latest exhibitor list released by the organizing committee, many world-renowned defense and aerospace companies, including Lockheed Martin, Airbus, Rostec, and Boeing, will have booths at the Vietnam International Defense Expo 2024, scheduled to take place at Gia Lam Air Base in Hanoi from December 19 to 22.

-- According to the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control, between December 2 and December 8, the city reported 357 measles cases, marking a 47.8-percent increase compared to the average number of cases over the previous four weeks.
-- The People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province announced on Tuesday the approval of a new monkey farm dedicated to exports. Covering nearly 70,000 square meters, the facility is designed to supply 14,000 monkeys annually for medical research. This comes after the earlier licensing of another farm spanning over 53,000 square meters, with a yearly output of 12,000 monkeys.
-- The Ho Chi Minh City Management Center of Public Transport has announced that it will promptly verify and address footage from a car’s dashcam that captured bus No. 88 running a red light at the intersection of Nguyen Duy Trinh and Do Xuan Hop Streets in Thu Duc City on Tuesday.

-- Viettel Logistics Park, covering over 143 hectares with a total investment of nearly VND3.3 trillion (US$130.1 million) and located in Lang Son Province, about five kilometers from the Vietnam-China border, is set to open on Wednesday with the aim of shortening customs clearance times and reducing the cost of agricultural products.
