-- A tsunami warning has been canceled in Tonga after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck the Pacific Island kingdom in the early hours of Sunday, Reuters reported.
-- The toll from Myanmar’s magnitude-7.7 earthquake continued to rise on Sunday, with around 1,700 dead, 3,400 injured, and over 300 missing, as foreign rescue teams rushed in and overwhelmed hospitals struggled to assist in the war-torn country, according to Reuters.
