Victoria Azarenka, who secured a bronze medal in the women's tennis singles and a gold in the mixed doubles for Team Belarus at the recently-concluded London Olympics, is set to attend an exhibition match in Ho Chi Minh City next month. The world No.1, along with some other famous players, will play some friendly games, held as part of the Heineken Star tournament, at Lan Anh Club on September 20, according to a source close to Tuoi Tre. Heineken Star’s organizers refused to elaborate on any detail of her trip, but it is expected that she will join some meetings with local fans. The Belarusian last week withdrew from the Montreal Cup with a knee injury that she blamed on a quick turnaround after competing at the London Olympics, Reuters reported. "I had no time to recover and my body is feeling it," she told reporters. "I just felt my knee was not in good shape. Hopefully it is nothing serious." Azarenka will also miss next week's Cincinnati Masters as she is hopeful of being ready to play in the US Open, the year's final grand slam, to be held between August 27 and September 9, according to Reuters. “The first is to get healthy, to make sure that I'm a hundred percent ready to play at the US Open,” the 23-year-old told AP.
