Ambassador of Sweden to Vietnam Ann Måwe sang a famous Vietnamese song named ‘Em Oi, Ha Noi Pho’ (Darling, Hanoi Streets) after being invited to the stage at Ly Thuong Kiet Elementary and Middle School in Hoi An City under Quang Nam Province to talk with students on Tuesday morning, exhilarating them a lot.
These students applauded loudly after listening to her song.
As part of her ongoing trip to central Vietnam, Måwe and her Swedish friends who reside and work in Hoi An City visited the school to present gifts to disadvantaged students.
The Swedish ambassador said that she was impressed by the capital city and Hoi An City.

As she lives and works in Hanoi, its features have been engraved on her mind, she shared.
‘Em Oi, Ha Noi Pho’ is one of her favorite Vietnamese songs, so she often sings it when she misses the city.
She happily said that a Swedish couple who have lived with their children in Hoi An Ancient Town for several years invited her to visit.
Her charity group gave 150 helmets to students in Cam Kim Commune, and raised their awareness of the importance of wearing a helmet while riding.
