Four finalists including Hong Nhung, Vinh Hai, Quang Dang and To Nhu will have to perform to compete individually as well as in pairs.

Launched in July, the Vietnamese version of the American reality dancing show has seen performances of more than 100 amateur and professional dancers aged 16 to 30 across the country.

As Jeff Thacker, co-producer of the American version said, there’s no specific requirement, no boundaries and no limit on the style of dance including hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, or jazz. The show has opened a playground for all Vietnamese youths who have passion in dancing.

Without scandals, the dancing competition has drawn attention and received positive response from local audiences.

“I’ve cried every week after watching the show. The tears of contestants when they’re eliminated really touch me,” myphuc commented on the show’s official website.

For their part, the finalists shared that their biggest award is that dancing will be recognize as a real career with passion and effort.

“The important thing is we want to have chance to dace, to live with our passion,” Hong Nhung expressed.

The show will be broadcast live on HTV7, HN1 DRT, CVVTV1 and Yan TV at 9pm.

The gala night to announce and award the winner will be organized next week.
