The annual Vietnam International Jewelry Fair, the 22nd of its kind, has been kicked off at Phu Tho Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 11.

Opening daily from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, except for the last day when it will be wrapped up at 5:00 pm, the 5-day event is recognized as a platform for annual meeting of over 8,000 jewelry manufacturers, businesses and the top skillful craftsmen in Vietnam.

The VIJF 2013, a one-stop gold and jewel hub that congregates more than 80 exhibitors, is opened for both trade and public visitors and it is expected to attract over 30,000 trade and public visitors visitor ship during the exhibition which will end on November 11.

There are many foreign exhibitors coming from Belgium, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, the US, Singapore, Thailand and Turkey, as well as major local brands such as SJC, Zela, Goodman, Unique, Golden Dew, PNJ, Cao, Doji, Sacombank, Phuong Nam, and Compa.

“The exhibitors will showcase their collections of fine jewelry and gemstones which exude a sense of novelty and elegance,” said the organizer Saigon Jewelry Co (SJC) which has hosted the annual event since 1992.

“In order to enhance professionalism in the organization of VIJF, SJC worked with international providers to bring VIJF to the next level.  In the field of marketing support: World Trade Fair Ltd., MP International (Asia Pacific) Ltd (Hong Kong) while in the field of international forwarding: Brinks Vietnam Company (USA),” said SJC.

The vibrancy and glittery of the showpieces will be complemented by an exciting line-up of event highlights including “Buyer & Seller Meeting” and “The jewelry shows”.

While the first highlight, a by-invite only event, will enable interaction between the buyers and industry players with meetings which can be arranged during the exhibition, the second one will be jointly organized by the big brand names featuring the new collections of Jewelry industry in Vietnam.

The annual event, supported by World Gold Council, People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Gold Trade Association and Saigon Jewelry Association, is recognized as the largest Gem and Jewelry show of its kind in Vietnam. VIJF 2012 attracted over 150 exhibitors from 14 countries/regions.
