Three behemoth sleek double-deckers began cruising streets in Hanoi on Wednesday following a trial run mid-2017, promising to offer passengers a fresh view of the cityscape.

The two-story vehicles run between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm every day on Hanoi’s famous streets, passing 30 local places of interest like Hoan Kiem Lake, the Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts and the Hanoi Opera House.

Each of them visits one of their 13 stations after every 30 minutes.

The buses, designed in line with European standards, each have 16 seats on the first floor, two of them for people with disabilities.

The second floor, which is roofless, can seat 42 passengers.

The double-deckers provide free wireless Internet connection and are equipped with screens showing the route and giving information on tourist attractions.

Their GPS-based devices tell 'the next station' in several languages.

A refrigerator and small beverage counter are also available in the vehicles.
