This incredible location makes District 9 the preferred home of the burgeoning logistics industry, particularly as the world moves toward online shopping, necessitating the establishment of sizeable warehouses in the area.

Secondly, District 9 is the beneficiary of significant domestic and foreign investment funds, among which are Phong Phu Textile Factory, Phu Huu Industrial Park, and Saigon High-Tech Park.

Educational facilities have also chosen District 9 as their headquarters, including the Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City campus and several other major universities.

Thirdly, the area is home to various subdivisions, such as Thu Thiem New Urban Area.
