PYCOGROUP, a specialist in the BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model bootstrapping technology development centers in Vietnam, sets out to hire more than 100 software engineers in Ho Chi Minh City in the next six months to be at the forefront of global fintech innovation.

With over 20 years of extensive experience in Vietnam, PYCOGROUP has successfully established many technology development centers in the country for global clients, including YellowPepper, Atlassian, Magnolia, Ansarada, and MessageMedia.

Its latest collaboration with National Australia Bank (NAB) is now thriving with over 200 exceptional local software engineers working at the Vietnam Delivery Center (VDC) in Ho Chi Minh City.

PYCOGROUP's goal is to hire over 100 software engineers to join the VDC within the next six months, working to help NAB deliver its state-of-the-art digital transformation road map.

NAB has adopted a ‘Cloud First’ strategy and, over time, will transition the majority of its key applications to the cloud while also leveraging it to accelerate development and innovation.

The bank expects cloud computing to play a huge role in transforming products, services, strategies, as well as in improving customer experience.

By joining the VDC team, local software engineers will get a chance to work closely with the Australian development team, taking advantage of the latest tools and techniques used by leading technology and digital companies globally.

"During our 20 years in Vietnam, we have witnessed the local market grow a very promising talent pool that today provides high quality and well-rounded software engineers,” said Pieter van Diermen, CEO of PYCOGROUP.

“Besides, with its fast-growing tech industry, Vietnam is emerging as an innovation and technology hub in Southeast Asia.

“We thus strongly believe that the local talent will be able to advance their career in 'Cloud' and also to be at the forefront of global fintech innovation when joining the VDC team.”

With two spacious and high-tech offices set up in E.Town Central, District 4, and E.Town Cong Hoa, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City, the VDC is not only striving to create a great place to work, but also aiming to become one of the best delivery centers for local tech engineers to move and thrive.
