Many shopping malls and supermarkets in Ho Chi Minh City were hectic on Sunday despite the ongoing rainy weather and just a few promotion programs.
Rain in many areas across the southern metropolis could not stop people from flocking to shopping centers and supermarkets for shopping and having fun on the weekend.
A small number of brands launched sales promotions and offered discounts on children’s items on the occasion of the upcoming International Children’s Day (June 1) at those malls.

Notably, shopping malls such as Takashimaya, Vincom, and Parkson in District 1 were more crowded by nightfall.
Stores of foreign brands like H&M, Zara, MLB, Aldo, Charles & Keith, Innisfree, Uniqlo, and Muji were full of customers although their promotion offers were moderate.
Visitors were willing to wait their turns as services were overloaded at times.
