The IGBC 2023, held by the Singapore Green Building Council, is among the premier events for professionals, leaders, and policymakers in green building development.

The conference manifested Singapore’s efforts and achievements in developing a sustainable city in the tropics and highlighted the latest trends, growth, and technologies in terms of sustainability in the construction sector.

More than 800 conference delegates had the opportunity to network and mingle with property developers, asset owners and managers, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, government agencies, solution providers and the academia in green building and built environment sustainability.

A Phuc Khang Corporation delegation led by Luu Thi Thanh Mau, dubbed “Green CEO”, joined the conference in a spirit of learning and networking.

The Phuc Khang leader also toured exhibition booths, met with international business partners and close strategic partners at the event.

The Phuc Khang CEO visited a booth run by AGC Asia Pacific as well as other booths showcasing green technology products, networked with potential business partners, the Singapore Green Building Council, and representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Green Architecture Club at the conference.

She also met with representatives of ArcelorMittal, a global leading multinational steel corporation; SGP Farm Technology, an information technology consulting unit; and the New South Wales Government's economic development and attraction agency Investment NSW, among others.

Maintaining connection strategies for sustainable development

As a green building developer with over 14 years of establishment and development, Phuc Khang Corporation undertook its mission: “Pioneer and promote the creation of a better lifestyle for public health and sustainable humanistic ecological environment in accordance with global green standards,” and worked out a sustainable development strategy to develop green building products.

To implement the strategy, the company’s management board, including the green CEO Luu Thi Thanh Mau, devised plans to connect with international friends who share the same mindset as the firm as well as leading experts in the field.

In September 2022, CEO Luu Thi Thanh Mau and a high-ranking delegation of Phuc Khang joined a business trip to Singapore. Experience and knowledge acquired during the business trip enabled the company leaders to come up with innovations to fulfill their goal of developing green buildings meeting international standards. The trip also laid a solid foundation for the company’s connection strategy for sustainable development.

During her recent trip to the city-state last month, the Phuc Khang CEO continued to promote international cooperation and investment with major business partners in the world.

The head of Phuc Khang Corporation met with some WGBC representatives such as WGBC CEO Cristina Gamboa and Program Head for WGBC’s Asia Pacific Region Joy Gai.

Corinna Choong, Senior Director for Sustainability at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) at the conference also invited CEO Luu Thi Thanh Mau to give inspiring talks to SUTD students every year.
