-- On Wednesday, the fifth day of the 2025 Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) holiday, 56 traffic accidents occurred nationwide, resulting in 17 deaths and 45 injuries. Traffic police across the country addressed 3,980 violations, impounded nearly 1,400 vehicles, revoked 115 driver’s licenses, and deducted points from 493 driver’s licenses.
-- The Ministry of Health has proposed a new Population Law that would extend maternity leave from six months to seven months for female workers giving birth to a second child.

-- Khanh Hoa Province, home to the popular beach city of Nha Trang in south-central Vietnam, welcomed 531 tourists from Poland on Wednesday. The group arrived at Cam Ranh International Airport on flight U5 2297 of SkyUp Airlines from Warsaw International Airport.
-- On Wednesday, My Tho Cruise Port in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang welcomed over 170 international tourists from countries including the U.S., the UK, and Australia. The tourists arrived aboard the 5-star Viking SaiGon cruise ship, which had just completed a route between My Tho City and Cambodia.
