Military-run telecom group Viettel announced that the firm will participate in the 31st International Defence Industry Exhibition, or MSPO 2023, in Kielce, Poland from Tuesday to Friday this week, making it the first enterprise in Vietnam to join the trade fair dedicated to military equipment.
MSPO is one of the three largest annual defense exhibitions taking place in Europe, and is ranked ninth among the top 100 biggest defense expos in the world.
This year’s exhibition will cover an area of 34,000 square meters, and feature more than 700 exhibitors from 36 countries.
Tens of millions of defense products and technologies will be showcased at the event.
Viettel is set to bring 60 tech products to the exhibition, including equipment used for electronic warfare, radar systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, and private networks, among others.
The Vietnamese firm’s products have the same features and functions as the world’s hi-tech industrial products, and meet all international manufacturing standards.
Viettel’s participation in MSPO 2023 is aimed at deepening its trade cooperation, sounding out opportunities with more partners, and introducing Vietnam’s defense industry.
“Vietnam’s defense products meet all stringent requirements and the needs of customers. We pledge to provide the latest technologies and frequently improve the quality of products to satisfy users,” said Nguyen Vu Ha, general director for Viettel High Technology, a unit under Viettel.
Viettel’s maiden participation in MSPO shows the firm’s determination to expand its reach in the defense industry in Europe.
