The newly-launched Al Fire Alert by VinaAI

Ho Chi Minh City-based Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Joint Stock Company (VinaAI) has successfully implemented artificial intelligence (AI) for early fire detection through a surveillance camera system.

The newly-launched AI software, Al Fire Alert, collects, synthesizes, and analyzes images and videos to provide fire warnings after just 10 seconds of anyalysis.

The software’s intelligent analysis minimizes false alarms common in traditional fire alarm systems, such as those elicited by burning joss paper or smoking.

Users can customize warning modes in the system and the program’s AI communicates alerts through various devices.

According to Bui Duy Khanh, president of VinaAI, utilizing AI for enhanced accuracy and effectiveness in evaluating fire events has been his longstanding ambition, but it was not until the recent development of Vietnam’s 5G and IPv6 infrastructure that VinaAI had the motivation and platform to realize that ambition.

Beyond its capability for rapid and precise fire detection, VinaAI’s software possesses the ability to autonomously learn and adapt data, allowing it to self-tailor to the specific fire and explosion safety characteristics of each area.

This self-learning feature ensures accuracy in assessing the sequence of fire events and issuing timely warnings.
