The Suzuki Jimny, a four-wheel drive off-road mini sport utility vehicle manufactured by Japanese automaker Suzuki, will officially be launched in Vietnam in early April.
Though importers brought the Jimny to Vietnam in 2023, it has yet to go on sale in the Southeast Asian nation.
Its price has not been officially announced, but a list of new-car registration fees published by the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance in January put the Suzuki Jimny’s registration charge at VND789 million ($31,960).
Meanwhile, certain dealers have initiated the acceptance of deposits for their single-tone exterior version at VND789 million and the two-tone version at VND799 million.
Though the Jimny has yet to be put on sale, some dealers currently have the car on display at their showrooms and have found local buyers.
A three-door version of the Jimny will be sold widely in Vietnam in April. It measures 3.656 meters long, 1.645 meters wide, and 1.72 meters tall.
It weighs 1,105 kilograms.
