Nearly 500 local, international brands join paper, packaging expo in southern Vietnam

Some 500 local and international brands in the paper and packaging industries are showcasing products at the 2024 Vietnam International Paper and Packaging Exhibition, which kicked off at the WTC Expo, a complex of conference and exhibition halls in Binh Duong Province, southern Vietnam, on Wednesday.

The exhibition, scheduled to run until Friday, features over 250 booths from many countries and territories including Vietnam, Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Italy.

Among the participating brands are Andritz, Pulppy, Song Long, Valmet, Endress+Hauser, In7, Topbond, DN Pack, Thien Loc, Vina CHG, Rutherford, Mutoh, GTI, Triveni, Ulion, CNBM, Yekon Machine, Jinxuan, Hengtai Filtering, XinSheng, JP, Yunda Paper Machinery, and Jintian Paper.

Apart from machinery, advanced technology, and paper pulp displays, the expo also features a wide range of green and eco-friendly products manufactured by several major brands such as Liksin and Pulppy Polar Bear.

As part of the event, hosted by the Vietnam Pulp and Paper Association and other partners, an awards ceremony was organized on the first day of the expo to honor local packaging companies for their eco-friendly products.

Also taking place at the WTC Expo, the third Vietnam International Electricity, Energy, Industrial Machinery and Automation (EMA VIETNAM 2024) exhibition has brought together 300 brands from around the world to exhibit their products at 200 booths.

Seminars and discussions centering around the paper, packaging, energy, and sustainable development industries are being held within the framework of the two events.

The two exhibitions are expected to attract over 10,000 visitors during their three-day run.
