The Vietnam round of the sixth Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) Championship 2023 kicked off in Hanoi on Sunday, attracting over 200 outstanding contestants from high schools, colleges, universities, and academies across the country.
The contestants from 36 teams will compete in ACP Photoshop and ACP Illustrator categories at three venues in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City to find 15 finalists with the best results to enter the national final round.
Fifteen prizes will be awarded to three groups, including three first prizes, three second prizes, three third prizes, and six consolation prizes.
The three first-prize winners will represent Vietnam at the ACP World Championship, scheduled to take place in Orlando, Florida, the U.S. from July 30 to August 2.
The ACP World Championship is an annual competition organized by Certiport, a U.S.-based provider of certification exam development, since 2013 to test students’ design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Indesign software.
The competition is open to students from 13 to 22 years old globally and attracts hundreds of thousands of contestants from nearly 70 countries and territories each year.
In 2019, the Vietnamese team won the Most Voted Audience Award.
In the 2020 and 2021 editions, two Vietnamese contestants made the top four and top ten in the world competition.
