An exam taker in the July 5 university entrance exam was suspected of taking it for someone else and faced suspension as that student doesn’t look like the profile photo.

V., who was taking the Chemistry exam into the University of Electricity in Hanoi, bore striking facial differences in person and in the photo, particularly the much darker complexion.

According to Bui Duc Hien, from the university, on lack of evidence, the proctors still let the student finish and submit the papers.

When the exam ended, after the security officers compared the student’s facial features and posed several questions to verify the personal information for 15 minutes, they confirmed that the student was indeed the person in the photo, which had been overly spruced up with photoshop.
