French photographer set to open exhibition on Vietnamese children, elders

An exhibition featuring pictures of Vietnamese children and elderly people taken by French photographer Réhahn C will be organized in Hanoi this week.

Titled “Visage” (Faces), the exhibit will showcase around 25 photos of Vietnamese people Rehahn has taken on his trips in Vietnam during the last six years.

Although he currently owns his own restaurant in the central city of Hoi An, 35-year-old French photographer Réhahn C often spends time roaming the country, as he is passionate about travel and photography.

In January, the Frenchman also released a photo book containing 150 best pictures chosen from his collection of 30,000 photos of Vietnam.

The book is the result of Réhahn’s trips to many places around the Southeast Asian country on his own dollar.

Last year, he held a photo exhibition on Vietnamese women in the capital city titled “Proud to Be a Woman,” and published an e-book named “Photographic Journey,” a collection of pictures snapped during his exploration of the northern provinces and cities.

“Visage” will run at L’Espace at 24 Trang Tien Street in Hoan Kiem District from May 9 to 29. Admission is free.
