Dogs of all shapes and sizes have had an opportunity to shine at a special festival organized just for them at a popular park in Ho Chi Minh City this weekend.

A large number of dogs and their owners have gathered at the 2018 Saigon Dog Festival, which takes place at the Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11 on October 27 and 28.

Aside from the participants, regular visitors have the chance to enjoy the beautiful and adorable pets.

The canines come from a wide range of breeds, namely Corgi, Pug, Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Yorkshire, Husky, Pit Bull, and many others.

The participants can take part in a number of dog competitions or just simply walk their pets among the pack and share their experience and knowledge with other dog lovers.

The contests include the Saigon & South East Asian Championship Dog Show 2018, during which local and foreign judges would pick the best dog of each breed, a fashion show for the canines to show off their styles and poses, and a competition for dog groomers.
