As many as 107 best entries in the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards competition are on display at a photo exhibition in Hanoi from November 2 to 11, as part of a series of celebrations to observe the seventh Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23.

The photos are entries chosen from a pool of 4,573 works by 526 authors capturing lively moments of the nature, Vietnam’s beautiful landscapes and daily life of local people.

Besides the classic topics of Nature, Tangible Culture, Intangible Culture, and Lifestyle from previous editions, this year’s competition introduced two new topics - Vietnamese Ao Dai (long gown) and Travel with Vietjet, which co-sponsored the awards with Canon.

The exhibition also opens for one day in Ho Chi Minh City on November 3 at the Hoa Lu, together with the 2018 Canon PhotoMarathon tournament.

The second tour of the exhibition will return to Hanoi at the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS) and Ho Chi Minh City at the Ho Chi Minh Museum from November 23 to 25.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City in late November.
