Visitors to the north-central Vietnamese province of Ha Tinh who seek a more local and authentic experience can make a trip to the early morning fish market at Thien Cam Beach, where fishermen sell their fresh catches on a daily basis.
Located about 20 kilometers from Ha Tinh City, the capital of the namesake province, Thien Cam Beach is famous for its unspoiled beauty.
The beach also offers tourists a distinctive and local experience thanks to the Con Go fish market.
The market is open at sunrise on a daily basis, as this is the time when local fishermen return to the mainland with their fresh catches.
Buyers can be both local residents and visitors, for the products here are fresh and the prices are reasonable.

Many merchants also buy the seafood in order to resell it at markets in their neighborhoods for a higher price.
The venue is always bustling with voices of people advertising their products, bargaining, and talking to one another.

The market only lasts for a few hours before the fish are sold out.
The fishermen would then wash their nets and prepare their boats for the next trip.
